Available in 16g x 8mm and 16g x 10mm, the annealed steel makes them easily bend to fit in your piercing. The material makes them comfortable and safe for extended wear. Purchased for Daith piercing, but will need to get some fairly strong pliers to prise open. As the opening is near the strongly curved part of the heart, it might not be able to go through the piercing properly, although I've seen this on other Daiths and they look great. Would work better if the opening was at the bottom rather than the top, and would give it more flexibility to wear in different sized piercings.
